Terms of Use
Last updated: September 1, 2026
These plain-language terms describe how you may use Breast Implant Illness Tracker during its private beta. By creating an account or using the Tracker, you agree to them.
Education and organization only
Breast Implant Illness Tracker provides education and personal organizational tools only. It is not a medical provider, and it does not provide medical care, diagnosis, or treatment. Using the Tracker does not create a doctor–patient relationship.
What the Tracker does not do
- It does not diagnose Breast Implant Illness or any condition.
- It does not recommend or discourage any treatment.
- It never advises you to stop or change any medication.
- It does not tell any individual whether to have explant surgery, and it does not determine whether explant is medically necessary.
- It does not recommend an individual surgeon or provider.
- It does not provide insurance guidance or legal advice.
Not for emergencies
The Tracker is not an emergency service. If you have a medical emergency or an urgent concern, contact your local emergency number or a qualified clinician immediately. Do not rely on the Tracker for urgent care.
Your responsibilities
- Enter only your own information, as accurately as you can.
- Make medical decisions with a qualified clinician — not based on the Tracker.
- Keep your account credentials secure and use the Tracker lawfully.
- Confirm you are 18 or older and located in the United States (private-beta scope).
Accuracy and limitations
Educational content and any future community-reported insights are provided “as is,” may be incomplete or change over time, and do not establish medical causation. The Tracker identifies patterns in what you report; it does not interpret them medically.
Third-party links and resources
The resource library and any external links are provided for information only and are not endorsements. We are not responsible for third-party content or services. Educational content is labeled by evidence type — see the Medical Disclaimer.
Features that are not active yet
During the private beta, some areas are informational only and marked “Coming later,” including the Explant Access Fund applications, community posting and messaging, any provider directory, and publication of community statistics. We do not collect donations, grant applications, or financial-need information during the beta.
Accounts, changes, and termination
You can delete your account and private data at any time (see the Account & Data Deletion document). We may update these draft terms as the Tracker develops, and we may suspend or end access that violates them or the community expectations.
Draft status
This is a plain-language draft prepared for the private beta. It has not been reviewed by an attorney and does not claim legal completeness or compliance certification.
