Account & Data Deletion
Last updated: September 1, 2026
You are in control of your account. This explains password reset, deleting your account and private data, and withdrawing research consent.
Reset your password
You can reset your password at any time from the Forgot password link on the sign-in page. We email you a secure link to choose a new password.
Withdraw research consent
If you previously opted in to contribute community data, you can withdraw at any time from your dashboard. Withdrawing removes the pseudonym link created for contribution. You can keep using the tracker either way.
Delete your account and private data
You can permanently delete your account from My Tracker → Account & privacy. To prevent accidents, deletion asks you to type “DELETE” and re-enter your password.
Deletion permanently removes your private data, including your profile, implant and device history, implant events, assessments, reported symptoms, symptom measurements, reported diagnoses, medical-journey notes, and your research-consent and research-participant records. This cannot be undone.
About future aggregate statistics
If de-identified aggregate statistics are ever produced in the future, they are not personal data and generally cannot be reversed back into individual records. Those aggregates would not be affected by deleting your account.
Draft status
This is a plain-language draft prepared for the private beta and has not been reviewed by an attorney.
