Research / Community Data Consent

We describe this as optional community data contribution for community-reported observational analysis. It is intended to help produce community insights over time.

This is not a clinical trial, a clinical study, FDA research, or IRB-approved research. If the Tracker ever begins formal research in the future, that would be described separately with its own, appropriate consent.

• Contributing is entirely your choice and is separate from creating or using your account.
• You can use the assessment and the full symptom tracker without contributing.
• Declining does not limit your use of the Tracker in any way.

“I voluntarily agree that de-identified information from my Breast Implant Illness Tracker assessments and tracking may be included in aggregate community statistics and future research-oriented analyses.”

• When you opt in, your contributed data is associated with a random pseudonym, not your name or email.
• We do not sell individual health information.
• Any future community insights are intended to be shown only for groups large enough that individuals cannot be identified; very small groups are suppressed.

You can withdraw at any time from your dashboard. When you withdraw, the pseudonym link created for contribution is removed, so you carry no further research linkage. If de-identified aggregate statistics have already been produced, they are not personal data and generally cannot be reversed back into individual records.

We do not publish community statistics or aggregate findings during the private beta. The community-insights area shows a placeholder until there is enough contributed data to be meaningful and privacy-safe.
